The African Food Blog: Questions and Answers
What is it all about?
As the name suggests, this blog is all about food!
The African Food Blog has been set up as a watering hole for lovers of African food to come together and share their secret (and not so secret) recipes, cooking techniques, tips and tricks and even the history of the foods from this amazing continent.
Who can contribute?
Anyone!
How can I contribute?
*For now, all recipes, suggestions, tips, tricks and articles can be emailed to come(dot)chop (at)yahoo(dot)com.
Please remember to include your weblog link (if you have one) or your name (or nickname if you prefer) in your email. This is simply so I know who to credit the contribution to when I post it on The African Food Blog. Your information will NEVER be passed on or sold to a third party.
Once you have mailed in your contribution, please allow about 24 hours before it appears on The African Food Blog.
What information do I have to include in my recipe?
When submitting a recipe, try and include as much information as possible such as –
weight/measurements of ingredients
Preparation and cooking time
Serving suggestions
Number of portions that the recipe will make
*Alternative ingredient suggestions
The part of Africa your recipe comes from and if you can, why not give a little background history of your recipe as well
What if the ingredients are not readily available?
*Ingredients may not always be readily available especially to those living outside of the Continent so wherever you can, please suggest substitutes for hard to get ingredients.
How many recipes can I submit?
As many as you like and as often as you like.
What else can I contribute?
Although it is now relatively easy for Africans who live outside of the continent to get their hands on the ingredients used in the preparation of the dishes, this isn’t always the case. So if you know of any markets or grocery stores around where you live or any online ethnic shops where authentic African ingredients can be purchased please let us know!
Leaving Comments
If you are familiar with the recipe but have an alternative method of preparation or wish to point out an error you may have spotted, please leave a comment.
What else?
That’s it! If you think I may have left out anything or want to ask any questions, please let me know by leaving a comment.
Let the finger lickin’ begin!
* The logistics of making this a Group blog is currently being explored. If you are interested in joining please let me know.

Higher Consciousness The second question that will be dealt with is the question of how knowledge is acquired. This area of epistemology covers what is called "the regress problem", issues concerning epistemic distinctions such as that between experience and apriority as means of creating knowledge and that between analysis and synthesis as means of proof, and debates such as the one between empiricists and rationalists.

I considered myself as the professional in this theme, and did not think that I can find in the Internet something new. But having come on your site, I have understood, that I know nothing and it is necessary for me to study and study as much as possible.
